POLY Principal Certified as a NACE Certified Coating Inspector-Level I

October 15, 2014 – Shalimar, FL – Poly, Inc. is pleased to announce that Beth Brant, PE is now certified as a NACE Certified Coating Inspector-Level I, having successfully completed an intensive week-long training course in Kansas City, MO.

The NACE International Coating Inspector Training & Certification Program is the only certification program that provides a standard of training for coating inspectors and improved inspection of coating application work that is recognized worldwide and is equally beneficial for specifying engineers and project managers of coating related projects. Thousands of governmental agency and corporate specifications call for NACE Certification.

Since the program’s inception in 1983, more than 20,000 individuals have been recognized at different levels of coating inspector certification

In the presentation of technical material used in the program, frequent references are made to specific standards on topics such as test methods, inspection procedures, materials requirements, recommended practices and performance criteria. Because the coating inspector will encounter a variety of specifications, the program incorporates standards from both domestic and international standard making organizations. The NACE Coating Inspector Program is intended to present technology reflective of the standards as well as current industry practices.

Each level of Coating Inspector Program involves a combination of lecture, demonstration, hands on training both in class and, for the Level 1 course, also at an off-site industrial facility. Case studies, practice labs and practice quizzes are also included. Multiple qualified instructors present the courses, which conclude with both written and practical exams. Congratulations on your accomplishment, Beth!
